Pronunciation of <j> in Kiowa

In the article, it states that in Kiowa "⟨j⟩ stands for a voiceless alveolar plosive, /t/", and the same sound is given in the table, however there are no references on this and in the article for Kiowa there is no mention of ⟨j⟩ being pronounced as /t/, in fact it suggests otherwise: that ⟨j⟩ is pronounced as a /j/.
